“Maria by Callas”, Monaco Exhibition
In 2018 the Callas Foundation supported an exhibition of its extensive collection in the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, inaugurated by H.S.H. Prince Albert II.
The “Maria by Callas” exhibition was presented in several aspects, particularly focusing on the presence of Maria Callas in the Principality of Monaco. Photographs, archival footage and unpublished films — including from the collections of Monegasque cultural entities such as the Opera, the Société des Bains de Mer, the Monaco Audiovisual Archives and the Prince’s Palace — gave life to these moments of public and private life.
